For this recent project with Epsom and Ewell Borough council we worked with a group from the Surrey girl guides to create a large scale mural depicting historically significant women from the area. It include writers Lady Sybil Grant and Isabella Beeton, musical conductor Kathleen Riddick and postal worker Nora Willis.The council said the mural was “dramatically improving the aesthetics” of the alleyway behind the Ebbisham Centre, “which previously looked tired and in-need of renovation”. Girlguiding Surrey East’s assistant county commissioner Mary Zoeller said: “This is an exciting and rare opportunity for local girl guiding members.”Ms Zoeller said the artwork would “shine a light on some incredible, inspirational women”.
