Urban Art Fair 2013

Thank you to everyone who visited and worked at the Urban Art Fair 2013.  It was a fantastic weekend and a great way to experience contemporary art and meet artists in a relaxed environment.

The street was filled with a wide range of artwork by a large variety of artists.  Hot sunshine and a lively atmosphere, diverse food stalls and music added to overall the experience.

Positive Arts arranged for 15 of the UKs top graffiti artists to descend on Josephine Avenue and spray paint the tube train live, which caused a stir and was great to watch. The train went on display in Windrush Square shortly after the event. The positive arts team also ran children’s graffiti art workshops with local school children.

The artists producing live work really appreciated the hands-on feedback from visitors which has been motivating and encouraging for future projects.

Thanks again to everyone who supported the event and we look forward to its return next year.
