Workshop at Waterloo Primary School, Liverpool

We have just been up to Liverpool to do a really successful one day workshop with the Year 6 kids from Waterloo Primary School. We created some great boards for display  based on their new school code of conduct.

Street Art course for the Barking Foyer

We have been working with a group of young residents from the Barking Foyer on a Street Art course funded by the East Thames Group. Over the last 6 weeks the participants have created several individual canvases with positive and poignant messages. These will go on display at a joint showcase event for all the foyers in Stratford and then go up in their Foyer permanently.

Lambeth Car Free Day

We have just taken part in this years Car Free Day takes for Lambeth Council designed to educate and promote alternative means of transport. The event was held on Landor Road which is an underused walking and cycling route which links Clapham and Stockwell/Brixton. The road features some fabulous small independent businesses as well as a pioneering community gardening project called the Edible Bus Stop.

Car Free Day will saw the road transformed into a vibrant ‘village fete’ with grass and trees, deckchairs and picnic blankets. The Positive Arts team worked with the local kids to transform two old cars in to works of art. We painted the cars in the street and the outcome was amazing.
